The Athlete168™ Methodology
In Athlete168, the number 168 represents the total hours in a week (24 hours × 7 days = 168 hours). This concept emphasizes a holistic approach to athlete training, recovery, and nutrition by recognizing that every hour matters—not just the time spent actively training.
Breakdown of 168 Hours
in the Athlete's Week
Training (5-12 hours per week)
Focus on strength, speed, agility, and endurance.
Skill development for sport-specific movements.
Proper workload management to avoid overtraining.
Recovery (50+ hours per week)
Sleep: At least 7-9 hours per night for muscle repair and cognitive function.
Active Recovery: Mobility work, stretching, light movement, and therapy (massage, ice baths, etc.).
Rest Days: Planned deloads to prevent injury and burnout.
Nutrition & Hydration (Constant)
Proper macronutrient timing for pre/post-workout fueling.
